I’m almost half-way through the Lightning Thief and I hope I can win some prizes in the little games we’ll have at school. I loved the first day of school in your core 4 class!! I was in Mr. Thompson’s core 4 Language Arts class last year too!!!!

Our Lightning Thief trivia will begin when our announcements work again…hopefully tomorrow. If you are halfway through the book, you should be able to answer tomorrow’s trivia question. Mr. Thompson is pretty cool, and core 4 classes always ROCK!

I finished it quickly as well. Mrs. Hopkins, a 6th grade teacher, actually introduced me to The Lightning Thief while she was reading it for one of her classes at ECU. Hunter S, “Wahoo”, read it shortly following Mrs. Hopkins and loved it. I knew I needed to give it a whirl, and obviously, I liked it a lot. I have read all of the books. I have Sea of Monsters and Titan’s Curse in my collection, but my cousin-in-law, Paige, is currently reading them. I borrowed Greer H’s, “John Deer Greer”, copy of the Battle of the Labyrinth this summer. I think it is a marvelous action -adventure series. Have you read the other books yet?

Mrs.Lancaster how much is that book that you have that is in your room that they announced over the intercom i think Monday. Tell your students that is said they better listen to you and behaive in your class
