Interviews and Charades or Anything Goes…
February 10, 2009 at 7:24 pm | In Reader's Workshop | 18 CommentsSo…as our theme song today indicated “Anything Goes”, tell me what you thought about our sub genre interviews for RDJ 19 on Monday and the Lancaster version of Charades for today’s T2K round 3. I can’t wait to hear from you.

Hey Mrs. Lancaster!
I was, and still am confused. My class didn’t get to finish. So are we supposed to write down their answers on the RDJ? Because I have their questions, our class just didn’t have time to get answers.
See you in class!

Caroline, for today, you can reflect on today’s class activity. Thanks for reminding me about not finishing. Tomorrow, will be a catch up day and we will finish RDJ 19 Interview activity with core 4 then. I’ll explain in class, does that help?

I didn’t like this lesson. Kasey was not participating. He never tries. Also, It was kind of hard to determine the genres too.

I liked the interviews because we could see what everybody was reading, and i liked doing the acting because it was funny to see how… unique people are.

I liked doing the interviews because we got to see what types of sub-genres people are writing about. I also liked acting out are terms today. Some of them were really funny.

I really liked today’s lesson it was really fun getting to act out our words we had…I think we should do that more often!!
RDJ 19 was cool I enjoyed getting to see what my table was reading and trying to figure out the genre of their book!

I’m thrilled you all enjoyed it. I thought it was a fun way to review terminology as well. Perhaps, when someone is not participating in your group, you need to think about how you treat the person. Are you friendly? Do you allow the person to contribute? When he or she contributes, do you accept his or her response in a respectful manner. Perhaps, if you answer these questions, you may find your gab slab group will function at a higher rate.

Yeah, I liked these charades. interveiws as well, I hope we can do them again sometime for our RDJs, It really helped to know what other people are reading and what type of genres they are into and enjoy reading.

I liked the interview RDJ because we go to see what everyone else is reading and learn about those books. I also liked being able to do the T2K because we got to act it out but it was kind of hard because Gray didn’t want to be Edward…
See you in class!
