Sydney Frost, forever our sunshine, remains a special part of our Starfish Family. As you know, in language arts, we use theme songs each day to accompany our lesson for the day. Sydney loved our theme songs and was forever on my case to let you guys pick some out. She loved to laugh as we all know. Song for Sydney will be our theme until each requested song is played. Remember, we reviewed the expectations in class today. All cores will post here as we heal and process together. Sydney, Sonrisa, will live in our hearts forever!

Hey Mrs. Lancaster. Well, I want you to play this song called “What hurts the most” by Rascal Flats. Another song that would be good is “Slipped away” by Avril Lavigne. Those songs are great!!

Hey Mrs. Lancaster I choose FALL FOR YOU by SECONDHAND SERENADE because there was a text message sent and theat was the backround song with her picture and it said FALL FOR YOU was a song that she liked.

I think that “Move Along” by The All-American Rejects would be a good song because it says that even though there is no hope move along. Sydney alway had hope no matter what. She was strong. To me that is the perfect song. [:

For the theme song I think you should use My Wish, by the Rascal Flats. This songs about, no matter what happens, there will always be someone there for you. Even when it gets really hard or sad, somebodys always going to be there to love you and help you up from what happened.
Or if you can’t use that song, then I’ll Be, by Edwin McCain. This is about the same thing, somebody’s always going to be there for you, no matter what. ok seeya!

I pick GOD GAVE ROCK & ROLL TO YOU by KISS for the theme song because god gave you a soul and that can never be taken away from you or ANYTHING GOES by AC/DC because anything can happen unexpectedly.

Hey..well, I think that the song that Gray requested was good because I love Rascal Flats so My Wish is a great song. Also, Move Along and It Ends Tonight by All American Rejects are good songs to because that band are really good singers. Sooo….but like I said earlier in my other comment I want you to play:

I hope you had the time of your life -I don’t know the person who sings it. I think it would be a good song because I’m sure we all hope that sydney had the time of her life here at morehead middle. Chris had some excellent suggestions too.

I know you said only one but if someone already said mine than Shining Star by Earth, Wind, and Fire would also be a great song. It talks about how everybody’s a shining star and to always shine.

It’s called “My Wish” by Rascal Flats.
